The trend toward sustainability has been very strong in recent years as both the private and public sectors continue to develop new programs that bring specific sustainability issues to the forefront. ASTM has also played a major role in helping to fulfill the world's sustainability needs through the development of consensus standards. Below is a database which references ASTM standards, and other standards and programs from organizations involved in sustainability.
Scope: ASTM’s Sustainability Reference Database includes a variety of resources to assist with assessing sustainable practices, products, programs and development and other issues related to the environmental, social, and economic aspects of sustainability. It includes standards, guidelines, practices, model codes and certification protocols that meet the requirements below. Inclusion of a document in the database is not an endorsement nor recommendation by ASTM.
