1. Scope
The proposed scope is to create a mandatory language document (Specification) for the industry that outlines both prescriptive and performance-based requirements for preventing aggregate reactions in concrete. This document will align with the guidance provided in ASTM C1778, aiming for adoption and reference in building codes and other mandatory language documents where current interpretations vary widely.

Rationale
