This practice is used to evaluate the bacterial and fungal inhibition properties of test substance under simulated field, i.e., bathroom conditions with controlled temperature and relative humidity
Antimicrobial; Bacterial inhibition; fungal inhibition; aspergillus niger; Pseudomonas aeruginosa; Staphylococcus aureus
High humidity regions throughout the world have issues with persistent bacterial and fungal contamination in bathrooms. This method is intended to test the bacterial and fungal inhibition properties of vapor products under simulated field conditions using testing temperature and humidity controlled chambers containing a sink, toilet, bathtub, and shower, as applicable for the product use site to simulate bathroom conditions
