New Specification for Composite Mesh Reinforcement used for Concrete Cracking & Peel-and-Prop Prevention
1. Scope
The proposed specification aims to reference test methods and performance based specifications for composite reinforcement type materials composed of continuous mesh sheet for use in reinforced concrete applications of industrial, residential, civil infrastructure, and build-environment.

Rationale
Currently no specifications are available for this application. There is currently a significant need for this type of technological composite reinforcement, especially in seismic prone areas as well as concrete structures exposed to corrosive environments. Specifiers would be able to use the new specification to ensure minimum criteria for this application are met
