Develop test methods and practices for measuring physical and chemical properties of cellulosic-based natural fibers from a Cannabis sativa L. plant.
Two types of documents are intended to be developed:
1. Practices (or Test Methods) for Rapid Assessment of Fiber Properties;
and
2. Test Methods for Quantitative/Instrumentational Assessment of Fiber Properties.
One set is intended to be quick and cheap and provide a spot check for various properties of consequence. The other set is intended to more accurate and thus more expensive either through equipment purchases or testing services.
From this effort, a "living" list of properties of consequence and practices and test methods for their assessment shall be created.
