Revision of D6114-97(2002) Standard Specification for Asphalt-Rubber Binder
Rationale
For the most part these are editorial changes. use of brackets ( [x] ) now necessary to be in conformance with the selected form of SI units. The combined SI units format was selected because that is essentially the form that the specification has been in since its original publication, albeit it did not have the present acceptable wording or the acceptable use of brackets in place of parentheses. Also to use an exact conversion from one system like temperature (C to F) would give very odd values that would be difficult if not impossible to practically measure or control.
