ASTM Committee E10 on Nuclear Technology and Applications was formed in 1951. E10 meets twice a year, usually in January and June, with about 50 members attending three days of technical meetings. The Committee has a current membership of 145, including representatives from over 20 countries. E10 has jurisdiction of 84 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Vol. 12.02. Committee E10 has 7 technical subcommittees that maintain jurisdiction over these standards. These standards have and continue to play a preeminent role in all aspects important to the nuclear industry, including radiation dosimetry, nuclear structural materials, and decontamination & decommissioning.
